Local artisans have until October 1 to register for the Winter Artisan Market, which takes place Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre gymnasium. Applications and full event details are available at portcoquitlam.ca/market or by emailing events@portcoquitlam.ca.

The market runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is part of Winter in the City – Christmas in the Square. Admission is free for the public and will include live entertainment, family activities, interactive displays, giveaways, and a beverage garden.

According to the City of Port Coquitlam, the event gives vendors the chance to showcase their products to hundreds of visitors while encouraging residents to shop local. “This is a great opportunity for artisans to share their work with the community,” the City stated in its announcement.

Priority for vendor spaces will go to Port Coquitlam businesses, with remaining booths offered to artisans from neighbouring communities. Vendors must provide locally made, high-quality products. Selection will also consider originality, booth presentation, pricing, and environmental sustainability.

All vendors are required to carry a minimum of $2 million Commercial General Liability Insurance. Those selling prepared food must also follow Fraser Health guidelines.

Fees are $50 for Port Coquitlam businesses and non-profits, and $100 for businesses outside the city. Confirmed vendors will be notified in early November and promoted on the City’s website and through online advertising.
