Tesla has opened a new 60,000-square-foot Service and Delivery Center in Port Coquitlam, marking its seventh location in the Greater Vancouver area.
The facility, located at 1028 Nicola Avenue, is expected to become a major hub for Tesla’s Canadian operations. According to the company, the site will handle the majority of Tesla vehicle imports into Canada and serve as a regional distribution point for parts, helping reduce repair and delivery times for customers.
Tesla’s proposal noted the Port Coquitlam location would act as a terminal destination for vehicles shipped from the United States and Europe. The facility has space for about 650 vehicles and will also provide sales, servicing, and delivery to local customers.
“This location is designed to support a growing customer base in the region while strengthening Tesla’s operations in Canada,” the company said.
The Port Coquitlam site is currently Tesla’s largest Service Center in the Lower Mainland, though an even larger 120,000-square-foot location is under construction near downtown Vancouver. That facility, once completed, will be the largest purpose-built Tesla site in North America.
To celebrate the opening, Tesla is hosting a public grand opening event on Saturday, August 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can tour the new center, test drive vehicles, and meet with Tesla advisors. The event will also feature live music, giveaways, and refreshments.
The Port Coquitlam center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
