RIBFEST returns to Port Moody’s Rocky Point Park in July 2025. Presented by Rotary Club of Port Moody, people can expect great award-winning BBQ, music, craft beers from Brewer’s Row, along with the Kids’ Zone and other family-friendly elements. Entrance is by donation, with the funds raised supporting Rotary projects.
According to Alison Young, RIBFEST lead for 2025, this year’s event will build upon the success and tradition of the RIBFEST experience. Choose your BBQ from 7 different Ribbers, grab a beverage and sit with your friends and family anywhere in the park. The ambience and the music are unbeatable. A variety of seating options are available, or you’re welcome to bring your chair and blanket.
Tickets for the RIBFEST 5050 jackpot are now available. This year, all lottery proceeds will support food insecurity in the community, with the SHARE Food Bank and the Rotary Starfish program designated as beneficiaries, according to a press release from the Rotary Club.

Every year RIBFEST depends on hundreds of community volunteers to make the event a success. Ribfest volunteer coordinator Peter Muir says that we are actively recruiting and preparing our large team of volunteers. “Our goal is to ensure our volunteers know how they contribute to the success of this event and help Rotary meet service needs in our community and the world. And… we want them to have fun!” Volunteer opportunities are available with more information at www.portmoodyribfest.ca
RIBFEST is a community and family-friendly event, the club notes. The Family Zone is a popular part of the RIBFEST experience every year. Kids (ages 1 – 12), along with parents, can enjoy physical, artistic, and intellectual activities. A Quiet Zone will also be established for those who wish to have a space to relax and play quietly with their child.
“In addition to some fantastic smells, it is the sound of RIBFEST, and especially the music, that creates such a special atmosphere. Once again, we are pleased to work with our Summer Sundays team. A fantastic lineup of bands will have the whole park listening and moving to outstanding live music,” the Rotary Club of Port Moody said.
