Police in Port Moody are appealing for dash camera footage in a Thursday afternoon road rage incident.

On May 15, 2025, at about 4 p.m., Port Moody Police frontline officers were called to the area of St Johns Street and Moray Street for a report of a road rage altercation in the westbound lanes of traffic.

Upon police attendance, a dark Acura sedan was located with a smashed rear window. A suspect fled the scene in a grey Honda sedan after allegedly breaking the car window and then pointing a firearm at the other driver.

“We are looking to speak with any witnesses who observed the rush hour altercation,” said Constable Sam Zacharias, “and likewise, anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident is also asked to contact our investigators.”
