“Parking on Bedwell Bay Rd is 🚫 – 60 vehicles impounded!” the department wrote in a social-media post, adding that officers spent the weekend tackling “impaired drivers, liquor pour-outs & a fully nude paddle boarder.”
Police said they poured out open alcohol on the beach, issued driving suspensions, and ordered the paddle boarder to suit up before leaving the water. “In addition to keeping your clothes on, we ask you park legally & leave the liquor at home,” officers said.
The department urged lake-goers to plan ahead and obey signage, warning that illegal parking will continue to result in tows and fines
