The City of Port Moody honoured the winners of the 2025 Spike Business Awards during a ceremony at the Inlet Theatre on November 27. The awards were presented by the City’s Economic Development and Tourism Committee, the city said in a press release.

The annual program recognizes businesses making significant contributions to Port Moody. According to the City, nominations from the public were accepted between September 8 and October 10 for five award categories, while businesses could self-nominate for two additional categories.

Mayor Meghan Lahti said the awards highlight the role local businesses play in strengthening the community. “They strengthen our municipal tax base, offer local employment opportunities, and make it easier for residents to access goods and services close to home,” she said in the release.
