Place des Arts announced that the center has launched its annual online fundraising auction, running from Saturday, October 18 at 9 a.m. to Saturday, November 1 at 9 p.m., with a goal of raising $10,000 to help under-served children and youth in Coquitlam access arts programs.

Funds raised will support program subsidies, community outreach initiatives, and the replacement of essential equipment used in Place des Arts’ educational programs.  According to the organization, the proceeds will help reduce barriers to arts participation and ensure that programs remain accessible to families facing financial challenges.

The auction features more than 50 prizes, including travel packages, dining experiences, and wellness offers. Notable items include round-trip flights to Whitehorse and Dawson City courtesy of Air North, gift cards for Coquitlam Centre, a Rockwater Secret Cove Resort stay, and Herschel Supply Co. luggage.

The auction can be accessed at the Place des Arts website, where visitors can browse items, create an account, and place bids.
