Nominations open for 2026 Tri-Cities Business Excellence Awards

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce has announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 Business Excellence Awards, recognizing outstanding businesses, non-profits, and leaders in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra.

The awards feature seven categories:

  • Business Leader of the Year
  • Business of the Year (1–20 employees)
  • Business of the Year (20+ employees)
  • Food and Beverage Excellence (new category)
  • Not-for-Profit of the Year
  • Young Professional of the Year
  • Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics

Nominations are open to both Chamber members and non-members, with a $20 submission fee, the Chamber said in a press release. The deadline for nominations is Sunday, November 23, 2025. 

According to the release, nominations will be reviewed by two judging panels of Chamber members representing the Board of Directors, Board of Governors, Ambassadors, Sponsors, and past recipients. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) Torch Award for Ethics will be assessed by a separate panel of judges from the BBB.

Award recipients will be announced at the Business Excellence Awards Gala on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
