The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce has announced that Jennifer McKinnon will be the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

A dedicated member of the Tri-Cities community for two decades, Jennifer has been a steadfast advocate for business development and economic growth, the chamber said in a press release. She steps into this leadership role following her tenure as Director of Human Resources at Manhas Health, which earned recognition as the Chamber’s Business Member of the Year in 2023.

Previously, she served as Executive Director of the Downtown PoCo BIA, where she worked closely with stakeholders and championed local businesses. “With 15 years of expertise in human resources, operations, and strategic leadership, Jennifer brings invaluable experience to her new position,” the chamber said in a news release.

The Tri-Cities community has played a significant role in Jennifer’s life over the years. Her commitment to service began in 2012 with Share Family and Community Services, where she remains an active advocate and volunteer. She is also a dedicated member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise and currently serves on the board of the Coquitlam Foundation.

Jennifer’s decade-long involvement with the Chamber’s Board of Directors highlights her passion for supporting local businesses, and her warm, positive approach will undoubtedly strengthen the Chamber’s impact. As CEO, Jennifer looks forward to collaborating with local governments to foster a more united and prosperous community while ensuring the Chamber’s voice remains influential and effective.
