Coquitlam Search and Rescue (SAR) is currently recruiting new volunteers to join its dedicated team, which responds to emergencies in some of the most challenging terrain. If you are passionate about helping others, enjoy the outdoors, and want to make a positive impact in your community, this is your chance to take a step forward.

“Our team is made up of highly trained volunteers who respond 24/7, 365 days a year — rain, snow, or shine. We assist with lost hikers, injured adventurers, water rescues, and much more,” Coquitlam SAR said in a press release.

“We’re looking for committed individuals who want to be part of something bigger — people who are physically capable, team-oriented, and eager to learn,” said Ian MacDonald, Coquitlam SAR Media Spokesperson. “Our volunteers come from all walks of life, but we share one thing in common: a commitment to helping others in their time of need.“

Applications open June 1st and close August 1st.  Applications are available on their website.
