Burnaby RCMP is asking witnesses and drivers with dashcam footage to come forward after a pedestrian was killed in a collision on Kingsway Monday evening. According to a statement from the detachment, the incident occurred just after 7 p.m. on December 1 near the intersection of Kingsway and Edmonds Street.
Police say the vehicle involved was travelling east on Kingsway when it struck the pedestrian. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. In a press release, Burnaby RCMP said its Criminal Collision Investigation Team has taken over the case.
