The Fraser Pacific Rose Society invites residents to stop and smell the roses at its annual Rose Show and Festival, returning to Coquitlam on June 21-22, 2025.

Held at the Dogwood Centennial Pavilion at 1655 Winslow Avenue, the 2025 edition is themed “Romance of the Rose”. It promises a vibrant display of blooms grown by both seasoned gardeners and amateur enthusiasts.

The show opens to the public on Saturday, June 21, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., and continues Sunday, June 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free, supported in part by a Coquitlam Spirit Grant. Those interested in entering their own roses can bring submissions to the pavilion’s north entrance between 6:00 and 9:45 a.m. on June 21. Judging will follow from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Organizers say the event is not just a competition but a celebration of community and gardening. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the on-site rose garden, tended by volunteers, and consider growing their roses in future seasons.

The Fraser Pacific Rose Society thanked the City of Coquitlam, Dogwood Pavilion staff, and its members for their continued support in making the annual show a success.
