A new rental housing development has officially opened in Port Moody, adding 55 homes and a ground-floor commercial hub near Rocky Point Park, according to Mosaic Homes, the developer behind the project. The project, called Mosaic Living Moody Yards, includes 16 affordable rental units as part of its mix.
The development aims to increase the local housing supply and expand options in the Brewers Row area. Designed by Michael Green Architecture, the building is the firm’s largest residential rental project to date, notes a press release by the developer.
The two-bedroom homes are pet-friendly and come with amenities such as EV parking, bike and dog wash stations, and access to a 36,000-square-foot private park. The outdoor space includes a play area, fitness zone, harvest tables, and a community garden.
According to Geoff Duyker, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Mosaic Homes, the development combines “an incredible location” in central Port Moody with “a professionally managed community.”
The site is within walking distance of Moody Centre SkyTrain station, Shoreline Trail and community amenities. Mosaic says it will provide on-site professional management, including a community manager, to oversee rentals and building maintenance.
